Essential Functions:

Classroom management.
Responsibilities include setting goals, evaluating performance, developing outcomes and use program and client outcomes data to improve services delivered to the children and families served.
Prepare an Individualized education program for each student.
Assess each student in reading, math science social studies and other subject areas.
Prepare daily and longer-term lesson plans in accordance with curriculum and state guidelines.
Teach the full range of learning areas: English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, etc.
Use computers to assist in lesson preparation, teaching and reporting.
Develop and maintain good working habits and discipline in classrooms.
Supervise students during classes and at other times in the school day, including lunch breaks.
Attend staff meetings and other training and development sessions.
Assess and evaluate students’ progress in written and oral work.
Other duties as needed.

Required:

Ability to pass a background check.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
Relevant teaching experience in grades 9 through 12.
Flexible and team-oriented.

Job Details:

Job Types: Full-time, Contract.
$18 to $24 per hour.
Schedule: Monday to Friday.
School type: Private school.
Work Location: In person.

Experience:

6 months to 1 year of teaching experience preferred.
